The first hole is the shortest and easiest-to-score par 5 on the golf course. Trees line both sides of the fairway, with two fairway bunkers on the right, and three bunkers surrounding the putting surface.
This par 4 plays uphill to the landing area in the fairway. Two fairway bunkers are on the left side of the fairway, and trees down the right side. A straight tee shot is required.
This is the number 1 handicap hole and the view is spectacular! Out of bounds and two fairway bunkers flank the right side of the hole, and trees line the left side.
Hole 4 is a short par 3 that plays to a green that is sloped from back to front, and surrounded by bunkers. The ideal play is to keep the ball below the hole so you can guarantee an uphill putt.
This is our signature hole at IVGC. It requires a tee shot over water to a kidney-shaped green. A pot bunker protects the front middle portion of the green.
An elevated tee shot has you hitting to a generous landing area. The more aggressive your tee shot, the more trouble you bring into play – there are fairway bunkers on either side of this hole.
This par 3 requires a tee shot that favors the left/center of the green. Short of the green, on the right, is a majestic oak tree. Take a moment on this green to enjoy the view the island on Lake Waconia.
This par 4 requires you to carry, or play left, to avoid the water hazard off the tee. Fairway bunkers are placed down the left side, and the water hazard runs down the right.
This longest par 5 requires accuracy and length. With out of bounds down the left side and a water hazard on the right, a good tee shot will set you up for the rest of the hole.
This shortest par 3 hole at IVGC requires a tee shot from an elevated tee. This green has two levels and is protected by 2 bunkers. Trees on both sides create a pretty view of this great par 3 hole.
This demanding par 5 requires a good uphill tee shot to a tree-lined fairway. The second shot must also be accurate down the hill to the right-sloping fairway.
The finishing hole requires both length and accuracy off the tee. Trees line the right side of the fairway and a large fairway bunker awaits on the left side.
